General CounsellingGeneral counselling is available to any members of the public who need help with challenges in their lives. Our counsellors include social workers and counsellors who are registered with their respective professional body. Our staff have training and experience with multiple counselling modalities and help clients resolve issues, problems and conflict. Fees are based on annual household income. Employee and Family Assistance Programs or insurance benefits may cover the cost of services.
Family Violence OutreachThis Program is offered in partnership with the Ministry of Justice and Attorney General. We provide prevention, intervention and therapeutic support services to victims of violence and those at risk of violence. Support is provided in the form of counselling, safety planning, advocacy, referral, and group presentation and workshops.
Children Exposed to Violence ProgramThis program is offered in partnership with the Ministry of Justice and Attorney General. We offer support and counselling for children and youth who are, or have been, exposed to interpersonal violence which may include: bullying, dating violence, sibling violence, or family violence.
School Based ServicesThis program is offered in partnership with the Light of Christ School Division and through support from the Catholic Community. The School Based Services offer support and counselling services to children and their families who experience challenges that interfere with the child's ability to learn and experience school in a positive manner. Common areas of support include, but not limited to, bullying, grief, coping with parents' separation/divorce or exposure to domestic violence. Rapid Access CounsellingWe offer the Rapid Access Counselling as part of the provincial network of family service organizations, Family Service Saskatchewan. The service is community-based and province-wide for adults, teens, children and their families and offers brief and solution-focused counselling over the phone or in person.
